Obituary for Amanda Rose Keaton (Shoemaker)

ULYSSES - Amanda Rose (Shoemaker) Keaton, 36, died surrounded by her family at her home on Monday, August 6, 2018 in Ulysses, Ks. She was born May 23rd, 1982 to Deloris “Lori” (El Sinka) and Ted Shoemaker in Lamar, Co. She married Aaron Thomas Keaton on March 25, 2000 in Ulysses, Ks and together they had three beautiful children; Britney Nichole, Jacquelyn Renea, and Ryan Marlyn all of Ulysses, Ks. Also, surviving is her sister, Brandy Shoemaker of Topeka, Ks, and a brother, Bradly Shoemaker of Ulysses,Ks.

Amanda enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her kids play sports. She loved not only her family but everyone around her. She spent her free time getting her fancy nails done or going shopping. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Lori Piper, and her father Ted Shoemaker.

Cremation has been entrusted to Weeks Family Funeral Home & Crematory. A service celebrating the life of Amanda Keaton will be 10:30 am Saturday, August 11th at New Life, 837 North Baughman Street, Ulysses, with Pastor Aaron Engelman presiding.
