Terri, Rhonda, Kent and families, Our sincere condolences to each of you. I have many fond childhood memories from the old neighborhood. I had the priviledge to visit with Gene at the Sublette City Park during the Haskell County Fair Picnic this past year. We had a very good conversation. We reminiced about Mike and High School Football, many memories of Gene's days in the Navy, stories of Mary Lou, how much he loved his family. Gene always had a smile and a kind word. He will truly be missed. He has gone on to his reward. I pray God will provide you with peace and comfort as you deal with your loss. Your Brother and Sister In Christ, Roderick (Rod) and Rebecca (Becky) Hoffman-- Manhattan, Kansas

Bill and I have wonderful memories and will always remember Gene's wise words. Bill's eyes teared when he learned of Gene's passing, and we shared a moment of thoughts towards this wonderful man and his loved ones. Our prayers and love always. Love Sherri & Bill Miner

Gene was a wonderful man. He always had a smile. Since he was city commissioner. I always called him comish. He would just laugh. He always took the time to talk to me. I will truly miss him. Prayers for his family. RIP Comish. 🙏🏽🙏🏽
