My sincere sympathy to the family of Eugene Edward Ochs. He was a good man and great Scottish Rite member, where I met him. Coincidentally, my late mother's Riedl family came from Olmitz (near Great Bend) and my mom had some (distant) relatives named Ochs...I think one may have been a postmistress in or around Olmitz..early 1900 era. Again, my condolences to the entire Ochs family.

Kind regards,

jim Marples

Terri, Rhonda, Kent and families, Our sincere condolences to each of you. I have many fond childhood memories from the old neighborhood. I had the priviledge to visit with Gene at the Sublette City Park during the Haskell County Fair Picnic this past year. We had a very good conversation. We reminiced about Mike and High School Football, many memories of Gene's days in the Navy, stories of Mary Lou, how much he loved his family. Gene always had a smile and a kind word. He will truly be missed. He has gone on to his reward. I pray God will provide you with peace and comfort as you deal with your loss. Your Brother and Sister In Christ, Roderick (Rod) and Rebecca (Becky) Hoffman-- Manhattan, Kansas
