SUBLETTE - Jason Alan Snovelle, 49, died early Saturday morning on September 28, 2019 at his home in Sublette, Kansas. He was born on February 25, 1970 to Alice June (Hoskins) and Raymond Lewis Snovelle in Liberal, Kansas. He married Karen (Reineke) on June 23, 1990 in Sublette, Kansas. Together they had two beautiful daughters; Kayla Ann and Kaytie Lynn.

Jason was an artist and inventor. He worked as a welder and metal fabricator. He was a true craftsman when working with wood. He was passionate about taking something old and turning it into something new. Jason enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved cooking and grilling for his family. Jason was filled with great joy when we would hear his girls sing.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; and a daughter, Kaytie, both of the home; his father, Raymond Snovelle of Burlington, Kansas; brothers, Jerry Snovelle and companion Terry Odom of Burlington, and Justin Snovelle of Burlington; a sister, Shawn Miller and husband Jon of Cimarron; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Alice; and a daughter, Kayla Beachy.

Cremation has taken place. A service will be scheduled for a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family would suggest memorial contributions to the Sublette High School Choir. Please make checks payable to the Sublette Public Schools Foundation in care of Weeks Family Funeral Home & Crematory, PO Box 1200, Sublette, Ks 67877.
