ELKHART - Jimmie David “Jim” White, 60, died Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. He was born February 3, 1959 to Lorene Vernis (Delay) and Earl Ray White in Elkhart Kansas.
Jim had a love of life and his family. He enjoyed spending time listening to music and singing karaoke with his nieces and nephews. Celebrations involving cake always brought Jim great joy! He loved being at the ranch to watch the paint horses and was especially fond of his horse named Paint. Jim also liked watching movies, professional wrestling and "Days of Our Lives" while sipping a Root Beer or Pepsi.
He is survived by his mother, Lorene of the home: a sister, Kathi Morgan and husband Don of Elkhart; a sister-in-law, Donna White of Sublette; brothers, Gerald "Gary" Wayne and wife Debra of Richfield, Jeffrey Earl and wife Debra of Sublette, and Timothy Dean and wife Connie of Elkhart; ten nieces and nephews, and 25 great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ray Earl White; a brother, Michael Ray White; and a nephew, Trevor Joel White.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at the Elkhart Church of the Nazarene, Elkhart, Kansas. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Monday, June 3, 2019 at the Elkhart Church of the Nazarene, with Keith Davis officiating. Interment will be at the Elkhart Cemetery immediately following the service.
