Dad, what can I say in one word that describes you. It would have to be "Duty." The first born of six kids, first in his family's history to graduate from college, doing it in 3 yrs. after being awarded 5 major battle stars during his service during WWII in the 493rd Bomb Group. He worked really hard as a welder, farmer and father. His greatest accomplishment was being fortunate enough to wed my mother, Dickie Cook. Together, they had a great marriage that lasted 70 yrs. Dad, you taught me to be honest, to work hard and to treat women with unfettered respect. I be always been so proud of you for your loving attitude towards your country, parents, siblings, family and friends. But your greatest attribute and example was your powerful relationship with God. Thank you Dad, Mac & Kit
