The Whatley's

Mr. Holloway was an open book of laughter, smiles and joyfull heart. He was loved by those of the Arkansas, Pleasant View, community he grew up in as a child. We enjoyed playing games, eating and fellowship together. We prayed together on numerous occasions, good and bad and shared a love for Christ. We swapped dog stories and an appreciation for wildlife. For those who know or believe in Christ, it was not a day of mourning the day Mr. Holloway went to be with the Lord. It is a time of celebration. On Friday, March 10th, 2017, he closed his eyes only to open them again as his master said, "Welocome my good and faithful servant." Eternal life is not something you get when you die. It's something you get when you believe. For heaven is not a reward for the righteous. It's a gift for the guilty. If Jesus has a motorcycle, rest assured Ralph Holloway is smoking rubber across streets of gold. For those of us left in this world, we are thankful of great indivuals like Ralph Holloway who was a LIVING EXAMPLE at 87 years, live life full throttle and only brake a little.... for the curves. Inside his Arkansas home, you will find Mr. Holloway's favorite map. We saw it open in his living room to various pages, many times, as he was planning his travels. It was the one map that was 100% accurate and NEVER mislead him. The most important instructions are those in red. It was his giant bible for which we know he studied and found comfort.
