Growing up in a small town means, not only knowing your classmates, but knowing many of your classmates parents. When I got Rod as a classmate and friend, I got Curley, Vivian and Randy as lifelong friends too, and what a blessing that has been. Curley was driving by my house one time and when he saw me w/my hood up on my car, he stopped, backed up and knew immediately what was wrong (and I didn't) and got me going. There is the beauty of "small town America" and I was made to live here. It's people like Curley who set the bar that put friendships above their personal time or scheduling. Curley was a great, great, guy. I miss him and am so glad he was my friend. Thank you Curley for your awesome example, a man who walked as Christ, not just talked about Him. Thank for loving me that way Curley! See you on the "Hallelujah side of that Heavenly Creek!" MG
Our hearts go out to all the family of Curley. We hope your years of memories carry you through this time of great loss. We send our love to each of you.
Dad, thank you for raising Randy and I in a Christian home. I know you love Jesus. You taught us to be honest, ethical, caring, loving, giving, and to work smarter not harder. We shall miss you. I know you are with the Lord and I shall see you again. Your Son Number Two Roderick
We love you Grandpa Curley and cherish all the special memories we shared together. You were a great man who loved his family unconditionally. You will be missed and we know your love will continue and watch over us.
